A Donor Recognition Wall for Children

Tiles of Rainbows Snowflakes Flowers and Apples

Temple Beth Shalom Preschool in Livingston New Jersey – just hung these brilliant tiles.  Each grade worked on a different lesson plan with varying materials but they all were about nature and growth.  Tissue Paper Rainbows and Snowflakes, Hand print Flowers, and Cut Out Apples.  Their plan is to create art and offer parents the opportunity to purchase tiles once a year.  They have a very large wall to fill. A HEARTWARMING MITZVAH PROJECT

SCOPE donation from Melissa's Mitzvah Project

SCOPE is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide children in need the edge to succeed in life through the summer camp experience.  We have teamed up with SCOPE to provide an opportunity for children to create art and support the cause.  In fact it is a wonderful Mitzvah Project for boys and girls who have had the first hand pleasure of knowing how special camp is and who want to share that experience with those less fortunate than them.

Meet Melissa Nadler who just became a Bat Mitzvah and completed our first collaborative mural.  Melissa invited friends and family to join her in creating art for her tile mural to hang in a SCOPE camp and donate to her goal of one two week scholarship for a child to go to camp this summer.

We are very proud of Melissa for her hard work and thank her family for their support and help. More Photos

PRESCHOOL DONOR RECOGNITION

Temple-Agudath-Israel-Preschool-Tile Wall-Donor-Recognition-3 created donor recognition walls to commemorate the completion of a brand new building for the the preschool and religious school. The hand crafted art tiles grace the hallways of the school  bringing great pride and joy.

Proceeds from the art tile wall fundraiser went to the buildings capital campaign.

The art tile wall is added to each year. Students, congregants and alumni are asked to create memorials, remembrances and celebration works of art to be added to the wall, while the preschool creates hand prints with their students for parents to purchase for tiles as well. More Photos
