The Chatham High School Key Club will be sponsoring an opportunity for students to make a handmade gift for Mother’s Day. Students are invited on Wednesday, May 1, from 3-5 p.m. to create an original piece of artwork that will be transferred to a ceramic tile. The tiles will be donated to The Garden of Harmony tile wall being constructed in Lumbini, Nepal at their first-ever library.

What better way to say “Thank You!” to mom/grandma/aunt than to pay it forward? This is a great mother/child activity, or the kids can come on their own. Two packages are available.

A $15 donation includes: A ceramic tile of student art for Lumbini library; A book donated to the library with loved one’s name on nameplate; gift certificate for loved one, explaining donation in her name.

A $25 donation includes: A ceramic tile of student art for Lumbini library; A ceramic tile of student art for loved one; A book donated to the library with loved one’s name on nameplate; or gift certificate for loved one, explaining donation in her name.
